Poly Spandex is best washed in warm or cold water. Dry in dryer on low to medium heat with a dryer sheet due to static electricity. You can hang dry also, this fabric air dries pretty quickly. Typically as long as removed from the dryer soon after the cycle ends you will not need to iron.  If you absolutely have to iron do so on lowest setting with no steam.
